Boiler giant says range of extended guarantees on domestic boilers build on significant support for installers in 2018
Vaillant has unveiled a range of new improved guarantees across its domestic boiler range, including the sector’s first 10-year guarantee, on its premium range. The manufacturer says the initiative, which will launch on 1 July, builds on the significant investment it is putting into supporting installers during 2018.
Installers who fit either the ecoTEC pro or ecoFIT pure boilers will now benefit from a free 7-year guarantee when registered using the Vaillant Advance loyalty programme. Meanwhile, Valliant’s premium products will now offer the market leading position in boiler protection, with the ecoTEC plus and ecoTEC exclusive both coming with a 10-year warranty when installed with the new Vaillant boiler protection kit and registered using Advance.
Klaus Jesse, UK Managing Director at Vaillant UK said: “This new development is a further extension on our commitment to supporting our loyal Advance installers, building on our significant investment in support services, technical back up and an enhanced portfolio. This guarantee is intended to support our loyal installers with the back-up and service they need when promoting their businesses to their customers. The guarantees will be hugely beneficial to our customers, placing them in a stronger place to win new work and grow their business with the Vaillant brand.”
The manufacturer has added further support to installers with a new boiler protection kit, which it said will support them in achieving best practice in system water quality. ”Poor system water quality is one of the biggest challenges that installers face when maintaining the longevity of the product.”
Vaillant said that registration of the new boiler guarantee and boiler protection kit takes just a few minutes, ’with a few more clicks and they have the Gas Safe Notification completed free along with the Benchmark commissioning form.’
The manufacturer has also improved extended guarantees on its Glow-worm brand of boilers, saying the move will make the guarantee more accessible to all installers with an out of the box guarantee on a product widely available through the UK merchant network.
Installers who fit a new Energy boiler will now benefit from a 7-year guarantee as standard. Klaus Jesse added: “The Glow-worm guarantee will be more accessible to our installers and their customers with the 7 year guarantee available straight out of the box and promoted via national and independent merchants across the UK.”
